Diane Arbus: Identical twins, Roselle, NJ, 1967

Diane Arbus is an American contemporary photographer who was a student of the street photographer, Lisette Model. Arbus was famous for her square formatted photographs of marginalized people who are perceived as "ugly" by society. The majority of Arbus' photos were of transgenders, nudists, and circus performers. Arbus became known as the "photographer or freaks".
I chose this photo because of the many strange photographs taken by Diane Arbus, this photo named Identical Twins stood out to me (and reminded me of the horror movie The Shining). Theres just something unsettling about an old black & white photo of twins.
