Les Dejeuner Sur L'Herbe (Luncheon on the Grass)
In the year 1863 the artist Edouard Manet created a painting called "Les Dejeuner Sur L'Herbe" which is English translates to Luncheon on the Grass. This specific painting is regarded as the beginning of Modern Art era. This painting questioned two major accepted norms of traditional painting, that art should feature lofty themes and figure of historical importance should be present as scene according to classical perspective. What I highly liked about this painting was how relax the naked woman is between the two fully dressed men.
