Lunch on the Grass



            I think this picture had a lot of depth and color. I also think that the message the picture was sending is kind of powerful. I believe that what the artist was trying to say was that a new form of art was being established. It seems like the artist was trying to say that it's almost okay to be naked or "free". I also think that the statement that he was making with this painting probably shocked a lot of other artists of that time period.
