Paul Gauguin

When looking through some of Paul Gauguin's paintings, this piece stood out to me the most. This is called "Landscape with Peacocks" finished in 1892 during the Post-impressionism period. I liked this painting because of the colors that he used. He didn't just use the ordinary colors of a landscape, he went out of the ordinary and used bright and vibrant colors that really draws your attention to this piece. It also has good composition because the focal pieces are not in the middle of the painting, theres a peacock on the bottom left and a person on the right. If you keep looking around the painting, you find something new each time.
