Pual Gauguin

Pastorales Tahitiennes, 1893 Gauguin, Paul Painting Reproductions

Pastorales Tahitiennes, an Oil on Canvas created by Post-impressionist Gauguin in 1893. I was intrigued by this painting because of the artists color pallet choices and how beautiful the final piece came together. I also love the ceramic artwork painted into this piece of art. i love how flat the painting looks and who doesn't love dogs? the water and sky aren't the usual colors they are in real life, expanding your imagination to different looks of the world through art and Gauguin's eyes. The trees are beautiful and extremely hard to make look life like in art and the artist captured the shading in the grass perfectly and the landscape was sensational. The people in the painting are primitively beautiful and natives to the land going through their daily routines.
