The Temptation of Saint Anthony: Salvatore Dali
After watching the film a second time, I noticed different events that took place. The first time I watched the film when the two men that looked similar to one another were having a stand down in a bedroom alone after the one man proceeded to make fun of and antagonize, and yell at the other. This whole film is completely silent except for the music that would speed up and slow down when parts of the film would become more intense. the man who was aggressive resembled a father and the man being woken up out of his sleep, in his bed represents the mans son. the scene shows the son pick up a gun and murder his father after having resentment of his parent. it shows how the son is calm but shows the willingness to harm someone in his eyes. His body also tense and approached his father prepared to kill. he shoots his father and the father collapses to the floor. The first time I watched the video, the men resembled each other so much I thought that the men were the same person and that the man was torn with the way he is one the inside and wanted to kill of that part of himself.
